About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our store located in Salisbury Downs, SA. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to take on a strategic leadership role within our retail operation. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving store performance, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. You will be the key leader in your store, overseeing all aspects of the business and representing Silly Solly's values to our customers and team members. This role is crucial to the success of our retail network and offers significant scope for qualified growth and development.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and till reconciliation

- Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of staff members, providing training, coaching, and performance management

- Maintain store standards, including visual merchandising, cleanliness, health and safety compliance, and stock management

- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met consistently across all customer interactions

- Recruit, select, and develop team members,



fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture

- Handle customer complaints and issues professionally, ensuring resolution and customer satisfaction

- Maintain compliance with company policies, retail regulations, and statutory requirements

- Communicate effectively with head office, providing regular reports on store performance

What we're looking for

- Proven track record of experience in retail store management or a similar leadership role

- Strong demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop team members in a fast-paced retail environment

- Excellent knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, merchandising, and point-of-sale systems

- Outstanding customer service orientation with an ability to create positive customer experiences

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, customers, and stakeholders

- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs in previous roles

- Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance requirements relevant to the retail sector

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

- Basic knowledge of Excel
