Job Description

An exciting and challenging chance has become available for a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team at Joondalup Health Campus. This is a permanent, full-time position.

About the Role

Our Occupational Therapists work within a supportive team of professionals, are passionate about providing the best quality care for patients and are committed to upholding and promoting the Ramsay Way core values.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is keen to develop their skills in a variety of clinical settings and thrives within the quick pace of a hospital environment. You will join the P1 rotation, which includes rotations through Acute Medical, Orthopaedics/Surgical, Rehabilitation, Mental Health and Stroke.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will meet the following selection criteria:

- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
- Ability to effectively manage and balance a busy caseload and administrative responsibilities within a hospital setting.
- Demonstrate problem solving and clinical reasoning skills, considering broader implications and longer-term impacts.
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop client centred, occupationally focussed treatment goals and intervention plans in collaboration with the patient, multidisciplinary team, and consulting physician.
