Marland Mushrooms QLD is a leading mushroom producer supplying major supermarkets from our purpose-built facility in Stapylton.
We are currently seeking reliable Production Workers to join our production team, commencing immediately.
This is a hands-on role supporting our production operations.
No experience is necessary – full training is provided, with weekly pay and ongoing work available for the right candidate.
About the role:
We are seeking a motivated candidate to join our team in a casual role, working Monday to Friday each week.
Shifts start times (approx.)
- Monday through Thursday - 3pm start (approx.)
- Friday - 10am start (approx.)
In this role, you - will be responsible for:
- Mixing and preparing the mushroom growing medium (compost)
- Bag cutting
- General production and cleaning duties
- Climbing as required during production tasks
- Supporting production operations in line with safety and quality requirements
- Working efficiently as part of a team in a production setting
Requirements:
- Availability to work afternoon shifts Monday through Thursday and mid-morning shift on a Friday
- This role involves physical tasks and requires a reasonable level of fitness
- Own reliable transport is essential
- A current Forklift Licence is highly preferred but not essential
- No experience required – full training is provided
