Your impact
As our Senior Business Support Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting the smooth operation of our Region 9 business by providing high-level administrative and operational support to both the Business Support Lead and Head of People & Culture.
This is a diverse and fast-paced role where you'll be at the centre of key business and People & Culture activities. You'll coordinate administration across multiple functions, support employee experience initiatives, manage critical business processes, and ensure stakeholders receive timely, professional, and customer-focused support.
Your attention to detail, initiative, and ability to build strong relationships will contribute directly to operational excellence, compliance, and the successful delivery of business priorities across Transdev John Holland Buses.
This role is based across our Region 9 locations, including Port Botany, Randwick and Waverley.
What you'll do
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Business Support Lead and Head of People & Culture.
- Support the delivery of People & Culture programs and initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
- Coordinate People & Culture administration, including contract variation letters, employee referral and sign-on bonus processes, and employee documentation.
- Assist with People & Culture reporting requirements, including contractual, board, and stakeholder reporting.
- Coordinate employee and learning & development events, training activities, and engagement initiatives.
- Process recruitment, medical,
and People & Culture-related invoices and maintain accurate records.
- Support business operations through procurement, inventory management, and administration of uniforms, stationery, identification cards, and other business resources.
- Assist with CCTV footage requests, ensuring compliance with company requirements and liaison with authorised external stakeholders when required.
- Maintain accurate employee and operational records across business systems and databases.
- Support travel bookings, accommodation arrangements, and business event coordination.
- Assist with financial administration activities, including purchase orders, invoice processing, vendor maintenance, and procurement compliance.
- Manage the TJHB depot inbox, ensuring enquiries are responded to or directed appropriately.
- Support revenue administration processes, including reporting, reconciliation, and month-end activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance administrative efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.
What you bring
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a senior administrative, business support, executive support, People & Culture, or similar coordination role.
- Experience providing support across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Desirable tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Transport, or a related discipline.
- Experience preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for senior stakeholders.
- Exposure to HR administration, employee lifecycle processes, or People & Culture programs is highly regarded.
- Experience working with procurement, finance administration, or operational business processes is advantageous.

- Strong administrative capability with a commitment to accuracy and quality outcomes.
- Knowledge of contemporary HR practices, legislation, and people processes is highly regarded.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach to work.
- Strong customer service mindset and commitment to supporting business success.
