Due to continued growth across Queensland, Linkforce is seeking experienced Supervisors and Leading Hands to work at our operation in the Bowen Basin. This is a casual position offered on an ongoing long-term roster working a lifestyle-friendly 7/7 roster. October start.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Leading Hands / Supervisors to lead our close-knit, high-performing team, delivering efficient and compliant structural remediation and maintenance services to the onsite Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP). Your responsibilities will include:

- Supervising works to ensure all is completed to the client and company specifications
- Leading a team of trade and non-trade personnel to accomplish key deliverables
- Liaising with Linkforce clients and site-based personnel
- Planning and scheduling work and labour requirements
- Monitoring progress against the work schedule
- Leading by example on the tools, promoting safety, quality workmanship, and productive work
- Ensuring adherence to all statutory requirements and company HSEQ standards and procedures

What You’ll Need





We are looking for qualified and safety-focused Supervisors and Leadiong Hands who thrive in fast-paced shutdown and maintenance environments.

Essential:

- Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in Shutdown as Leading Hand or Supervisor
- Heavy Fabrication or Mechanical Fitting trade qualification (AU/NZ recognised)
- G1/8/9 (previously S1/2/3) & G2 supervisor competencies
- Working at Heights & Confined Space (within 2 years)
- Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
- BMA Core Inductions or SC Number is Highly Advantageous
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence - C class minimum
- Clear communication and people skills
- Ability to work effectively with site management and clients
- An uncompromising commitment to workplace health and safety
