Gardener

About the Role

gforce is seeking a Gardener for a local Ballarat business to work in all forms of gardening and grounds maintenance, including zero-turn mowing, whipper snipping, spraying, weeding, pruning and mulching on both commercial and residential sites.

What's in it for you?

- Hourly rate of $28-$35 depending on experience
- Full time hours Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm (7am-3pm over Summer period)
- Permanant role - 3month probationary period
- Starting ASAP

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Operating zero-turn and push mowers
- Whipper snipping, brush cutting and general grounds maintenance on commercial and residential sites
- Weeding and garden maintenance
- Weed control, including spraying
- Pruning
- Mulching, planting and general upkeep of gardens
- Other outdoor maintenance duties as required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in gardening preferred, or at least a keen interest
- Experience operating mowing equipment including zero-turn mowers, whipper snipping and spraying preferred (training can be provided)
- Current driver's licence (essential)
- Working with Children Check, or willing to obtain (essential)
- White Card,



or willing to obtain (essential)
- Physically fit and able to perform outdoor labouring duties
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Safety conscious approach to work
- Ability to pass a police check and drug screen
- Own PPE including steel cap boots and hi-vis long-sleeved shirt (jumper with logo provided)
