About the role

We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team at our Kewdale, WA facility. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on diverse welding projects, contributing to the success of our operations. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating, assembling, and joining metal components to precise specifications, ensuring all work meets our high standards of quality and safety.

What you'll be doing

- Performing manual and semi-automatic welding operations using various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding

- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate work execution

- Preparing materials and work surfaces, including cleaning, cutting, and fitting components prior to welding

- Inspecting completed work to verify quality and adherence to specifications and safety standards

- Maintaining welding equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition and performing routine maintenance tasks

- Following all workplace health and safety procedures and protocols at all times

- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and requirements

- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and adopting new welding techniques and technologies as needed

What we're looking for





- Formal qualifications in welding or recognised apprenticeship completion in welding or boilermaking

- Proven experience working as a Welder in a professional or industrial setting

- Proficiency with multiple welding processes including MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques

- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications

- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements specific to welding operations

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Physical capability to perform the demands of the role, including working in various positions and lifting heavy materials

- Current or ability to obtain a valid driving licence for site access if required

- Desirable: Experience in boilermaking, fabrication, or structural steel work
