About the Centre/Service

Situated in the foothills of the high country, Mansfield Kindergarten promotes a holistic approach to children’s learning and development. All children are provided a quality education within a nurturing, stimulating and caring environment. The sessional kindergarten is in the centre of town and is managed by the parents of children currently attending. We acknowledge and respect the Traditional Owners of the land on which we learn and play, the Taungurung people. We teach our children about reconciliation and are actively contributing to our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Our kinder community is committed to the child secure standards. We want our children to be safe, happy and empowered. We offer programs for both 3 and 4-year-old children. We are seeking a degree qualified, VIT registered, Early Childhood Teacher to be responsible for one of our 4 -year- old groups. It is a long service leave position for Term 1 2027, with the possibility of permanent employment.
The role will encompass all planning, programming and teaching, including Earth Kinder program. We seek someone who is an enthusiast and advocate for children and their learning, and a team player. Location incentives of up to $21,000 are available for the right applicant.
