We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Assistant to join our client's friendly and supportive nursery team in Newcastle.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated childcare qualified who is committed to providing high-quality care and early years education.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Support and supervise staff within the room
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers
- Monitor children's development and maintain accurate records
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are always followed

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in an early years setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A genuine passion for working with children
