About the Role
This combined Educational Leader & Assistant Director position is perfect for someone who wants to make a real difference both in the classroom and across the service. You’ll work closely with our Centre Director, supporting day to day centre operations, leading curriculum development, and mentoring and supporting our team of educators.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting centre operations and stepping in as Responsible Person when needed
Leading curriculum direction and inspiring reflective practice across all rooms
Coaching, mentoring and supporting educators in planning and program delivery
Supporting the Centre Director with team leadership, staff development and service operations
Collaborating on compliance, quality improvement and family engagement
Contributing to a positive, collaborative and high-quality learning environment

What We’re Looking For
Working towards or hold a valid Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Early Childhood Teachers encouraged to apply)
Previous experience as an Educational Leader or 2IC (essential)
Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and inquiry-based, child-led practices
Confident in curriculum design, programming, planning, and critical reflection
Willing and able to act as Responsible Person when required
Flexible with shifts: availability across operating hours 7:00am - 6:00pm
A valid WA Working with Children Check
