Are you an experienced HR professional looking to make a meaningful impact? We are partnering with a well-established charity that is seeking an experienced People Partner to join its People Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with leaders across the organisation, helping to shape a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
As a trusted People Partner, you will provide expert HR guidance, coaching, and support to managers and leaders, ensuring people practices align with organisational objectives and best practice. You'll play a key role in driving employee engagement, supporting organisational change, and helping create an environment where employees and volunteers feel valued, supported, and inspired.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with directors, managers, and key stakeholders to deliver proactive HR support and solutions.
- Work alongside the Senior Organisational Change Manager and wider People Team to support employees, volunteers, and trustees.
- Promote an inclusive and positive working culture that values diversity, wellbeing, and employee engagement.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve HR processes, driving operational efficiency and automation.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including performance management,
disciplinary processes, grievances, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Support managers in managing attendance and sickness-related matters, ensuring policies are applied fairly and consistently while maintaining employee wellbeing.
- Contribute to HR projects and organisational change initiatives.
- Support the implementation and development of HR systems and manage associated People Partnering responsibilities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in a People Partner, HR Business Partner, or similar HR advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practice and employment legislation.
- Excellent coaching, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing complex employee relations cases confidently and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Experience working with HR systems, ideally SelectHR or similar platforms.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
