- 3+ years' experience in SEO & copywriting - must have some basic technical & off-page skills

WHO WE ARE

We're partnering with an independent, Australian owned digital marketing agency based in South Melbourne, currently in an exciting growth phase as they expand their service offering across media channels.

You'll join a close-knit, collaborative team where your writing is genuinely valued, with direct mentoring from the Director and the chance to grow into a well-rounded marketing and communications professional as the agency scales.

THE ROLE

You'll join as a mid-senior level Content Producer, owning content strategy across the client portfolio as part of the SEO team. The core focus is writing, editing and optimising content for landing pages, category pages and blog articles, working closely with the Head of SEO to improve search visibility and performance.

Outside of SEO writing, you'll contribute copy for social media management alongside the social and design teams, and develop scripts and advertising copy for paid digital and traditional media campaigns.

Day to day, this covers keyword research,



editing existing client content for grammar, readability and ranking potential, publishing and updating content across platforms, and tracking performance to continually optimise results. You'll take part in weekly SEO team meetings and monthly client meetings, contribute to pitch proposals for new business, and help keep the agency's own website fresh and optimised.

On the paid and social side, you'll generate headlines, captions and creative copy for paid campaigns, write post captions across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok, and help shape monthly content plans alongside the design team.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

- 3+ years' experience in SEO copywriting
- High level English proficiency with excellent grammar, spelling and attention to detail
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp or Zoho
- Familiarity with WordPress content management and publishing
- Ability to adapt tone and style across different clients and categories
- Robust organisation and time management across a busy weekly workload
- Comfortable collaborating across SEO, social, design and account teams
