CS Executive Group has been exclusively engaged to recruit a General Manager for a well-established Australian contract manufacturing business operating within the nutraceutical and complementary medicines sector. This is a rare executive leadership opportunity to lead a complex TGA/GMP regulated contract manufacturing business with full accountability for commercial performance, manufacturing operations and long-term growth.

The Opportunity

This is a true General Manager opportunity with full accountability for business performance, manufacturing operations, quality, engineering, supply chain, customer relationships and people leadership.

This is far more than a traditional General Manager role. It requires an executive with demonstrated leadership experience in a TGA/GMP regulated contract manufacturing environment who understands how to leverage the commercial and operational drivers of the business to improve profitability, expand manufacturing capability, strengthen customer partnerships and deliver sustainable growth.





Success in this role will come from recognising which commercial and operational levers create the greatest value and having the judgement to pull the right ones at the right time while balancing customer expectations, operational capability and commercial performance.

A key strategic priority will be expanding manufacturing capability through the introduction of new dosage forms and technologies, supported by process optimisation, automation and capital investment. These initiatives will increase manufacturing flexibility, diversify the customer base, strengthen customer partnerships and create current revenue opportunities.

This opportunity is ideally suited to an executive who enjoys building businesses, expanding manufacturing capability and creating competitive advantage through operational excellence, customer diversification and commercial leadership.

About You

You will be an accomplished manufacturing executive with proven experience in a TGA/GMP regulated contract manufacturing environment and will bring:

- Tertiary qualifications in Science, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated General Manager, Site Director or Operations Director experience with full P&L; accountability.




- Significant leadership experience within pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, complementary medicines, food or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success improving EBITDA, productivity, operational performance and customer growth.
- Experience leading manufacturing transformation, operational excellence, Lean initiatives, automation and continuous improvement.
- Experience expanding manufacturing capability through new technologies, automation or new product manufacturing.
- Demonstrated success leading TGA/GMP manufacturing operations, quality systems and regulatory compliance.
- Experience building high-performing teams, developing organisational capability and leading cultural change.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution while building trusted customer relationships and driving long-term business growth
- An MBA, Lean Six Sigma or other leadership or operational qualifications will be highly regarded.
