Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified administration assistant to join Seymour Health. Starting late September 2026 this is a Fixed-Term Parental Leave cover position across 3 departments (Pre Admission, ACC and Community Services) with flexibility with days and shift times/hours available on request.

Seymour Health is a leading small rural health service. At our site in central Seymour, over 350 staff deliver health and allied services.
Our services include a 30-bed public hospital that provides public and private Acute medical and surgical, renal dialysis and day procedures. Seymour Health's breadth of services extends to post-acute care, palliative care, sub-acute ambulatory service, oral health services, district nursing and community services.
Barrabill House is a 40-bed residential aged care service that provides highly rated residential aged care.
Seymour Health is conveniently located an hour north of Melbourne via the M31 Hume Freeway and V/Line train service.
About the Candidate
- Experience in Reception, Administration, Accounts ideal but not essential.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in Administration in a similar role ideal but not essential.
- Customer Service Skills, Valuable interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of computer skills (knowledge of HMS & Harrison, Vital, Oracle, iPM and Microsoft applications an advantage)
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
