The role

- Backend engineering across TypeScript and Node.js in production
- Raw SQL on PostgreSQL - joins, aggregations, query optimisation
- Work confidently within AWS environments - Lambda, ECS and similar
- Build and ship features end to end with real ownership
- Work closely with senior and lead engineers to deliver high quality solutions

The person

- Strong TypeScript and Node.js application code in production




- Solid PostgreSQL and raw SQL capability
- 3 to 6 years genuine backend engineering experience
- Comfortable in AWS - you don't need to own the infrastructure but you know your way around it
- Not a frontend developer with a fullstack title - real backend depth matters here
