As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting and enhancing the Microsoft technology ecosystem, while leading the design and deployment of up-to-date Azure solutions and infrastructure automation initiatives.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure solutions that support a large and complex national business.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain Microsoft infrastructure environments
- Manage and support Azure and on-premises systems
- Lead the design and deployment of Azure Landing Zones
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) capabilities using Terraform
- Drive automation and standardisation across infrastructure services
- Manage and optimise Active Directory, Azure AD and Windows Server environments
- Support cloud migration, modernisation and transformation initiatives
- Collaborate with security, networking and application teams to deliver best-practice solutions
- Contribute to documentation, governance, operational excellence and continuous improvement
