About the Role

We are seeking a professional, motivated, and reliable Experienced A-Grade Electrician to join our Melbourne-based team. This permanent position is ideal for an experienced electrician ready to take the next step into a leadership role, overseeing works across supermarket, retail, commercial, and construction projects throughout Victoria.

The role involves leading small teams in office, coordinating daily tasks, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Projects may occasionally require working away from home and participating in rotating day/night shifts.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise on-site electrical works, including allocation of daily tasks and coordination of labour
- Ensure compliance with all relevant OH&S; legislation, site-specific procedures, and safety policies




- Install, test, commission, and maintain electrical and electronic wiring, apparatus, and fixtures in accordance with current Australian Standards
- Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and mentoring to apprentices and trainees
- Monitor and manage consumables, materials, and tools on site
- Maintain accurate and organised records of works completed, defects, and service tasks
- Liaise professionally with clients, site supervisors, and internal management
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when required
- Carry out other reasonable duties within the scope of the role

Key Licences, Skills & Experience

- Unrestricted Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Current OHS Induction Card
- Construction Industry White Card
- Australian Permanent Residency
- Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical environments
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead teams without direct supervision
- Strong knowledge of current electrical standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience in control wiring and/or commercial property infrastructure (highly regarded)
- Computer and mobile device literacy
- Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills
- Strong organisational skills and punctuality
- A proactive, can-do attitude with strong written and verbal communication
