Aspen Pharma Australia

St Leonards

Aspen Pharmacare is one of Australia’s leading pharmaceutical companies, dedicated to improving health and quality of life in the communities we serve through a diverse portfolio of prescription and over-the-counter medicines. Since commencing operations in Australia in 2001, we have grown through strategic acquisitions and long-term partnerships, building a strong presence across Australia and New Zealand as part of our broader Aspen APAC regional organisation.

Aspen APAC is undergoing an exciting period of transformation as we evolve our operating model, systems, processes and ways of working. We are seeking an experienced Transition & Transformation Manager to support the delivery of this significant transformation and help shape the future operating model of the business. This is a 2-year, fixed-term contract position.

Reporting to the Head of Transition & Integration and working within the Transition Management Office (TMO), you will coordinate delivery across multiple transition workstreams while partnering with functional leaders to design scalable business processes, operating models, governance arrangements and organisational capabilities.

This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role, combining transition management with practical business transformation. You will help simplify processes, clarify roles and responsibilities, define future-state ways of working and support the implementation of new systems and capabilities.

This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact in a fast-paced and evolving environment, bringing structured problem solving, analytical thinking and practical delivery capability to help shape how the business operates into the future.

What you’ll do

- Coordinate transition workstreams, milestones, dependencies and critical path activities.
- Partner with functional leaders to design and improve future-state business processes,

operating procedures and governance arrangements.
- Facilitate workshops to define operating models, governance, capabilities and accountabilities.
- Support organisational design, including roles, service models and functional interfaces.
- Partner with business and technology teams on requirements, process design and implementation readiness.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies and decisions across the transition program.
- Prepare executive reporting, insights and recommendations for senior leadership and governance forums.
- Work closely with the Transition Change & Communications Manager to align delivery milestones with organisational readiness, engagement and adoption activities.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve operational effectiveness across the business.

What you’ll bring

You will be a commercially minded transformation professional who can move comfortably between strategy and execution. You will enjoy solving complex business problems, bringing people together to develop practical solutions and turning ideas into tangible outcomes.

Ideally, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience delivering complex business transformation, transition, integration or separation programs, ideally gained in a business transformation, consulting, strategy execution, transition management or related environment. Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs or large-scale organisational change is strongly preferred.

- Strong business transformation and process improvement capability, including process mapping, future-state design and operating model development.
- Excellent program and transition management skills, including planning, dependency management, governance and delivery coordination.
- Strong structured problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex business challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Experience leading cross-functional problem solving and facilitating workshops to define future-state processes, governance, operating models and organisational structures.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence influencing senior leaders and facilitating cross-functional decision making.
- Experience supporting business and technology initiatives through business analysis, requirements definition and implementation planning.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives and adapt to an ambiguous, evolving environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline. Prince2, Lean, Six Sigma, CBAP or Change Management certification is preferred.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in a significant period of transformation and help shape the future operating model of a growing regional pharmaceutical organisation.

You will work closely with senior leaders and functional teams across the business, with the opportunity to influence how processes, systems, governance and ways of working come together to create a scalable and sustainable organisation.

If you are a practical, commercially minded transformation qualified who enjoys solving complex problems and turning them into meaningful business outcomes, we would love to hear from you.
