Randstad is currently working with a sovereign defence manufacturer of high‑tech defence systems that is integrated onto various defence platforms operating in mission‑critical environments. They are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to work on a project to support the Australian Defence Force to enhance their surveillance, air battlespace management, and air defence systems.

This is a permanent, full-time prospect based in Adelaide.

About The Role

- Conduct major engineering assignments in collaboration with other members of the project engineering team.
- Perform requirement analysis and design and implement engineering solutions to meet regulatory requirements and customer's needs.
- Conduct verification and validation (V&V;) and prepare verification plans and procedures.
- Conduct and manage system testing activities, as well as identify system requirements and manage configuration.

About You

- A tertiary qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or a related discipline).
- Extensive V&V; experience with mission‑critical systems.




- Proficient in hardware installation and configuration.
- Experience with electrical systems, including Voice Communications Systems, Radios, or Telephony (VoIP, analog, or digital).
- Experience working on all phases of the System Development Life Cycle.
- Experience working with complex defence projects is highly desirable.
