The Chance

This is a newly created role with one of Australia's most recognisable brands, operating at significant national scale. They're investing heavily in data, reporting, and analytics to improve decision-making across the organisation, and this role sits right at the centre of that.

This isn't a passive reporting seat. It's a business-facing analytics role for someone who wants to work closely with stakeholders across operations, marketing, finance, and commercial teams, understand what drives performance, and turn that into analysis people actually use.

Your Role in the Team

You’ll report to the Insights Delivery Lead, sitting within the broader analytics and commercial reporting function.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across finance, operations, commercial, marketing, and IT, translating business needs into structured insight requests, contributing to reporting and semantic model development in Power BI, and helping connect business context to the underlying data.

This is a newly created role reflecting growing demand for stronger insight delivery and value creation.

What You'll Be Doing

- Partner with stakeholders across operations, commercial, finance, and marketing to solve real business problems and deliver valuable insights
- Conduct exploratory analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and value drivers
- Help develop and maintain reporting semantic models in Power BI,



applying sound DAX practices under leadership guidance
- Support the current insights environment while contributing to the transition into Microsoft Fabric
- Work with IT on data readiness, refresh schedules, and modelling standards
- Validate dashboards and reports before release, and maintain lightweight documentation
- Support user enablement and adoption of dashboards across the business

What They’re Looking For

- Around 4-5 years’ experience in analytics, BI, reporting, or insights
- Strong SQL capability as a core technical foundation
- Power BI experience across report design, dashboarding, and semantic model concepts
- Experience working with operational, commercial, or finance stakeholders
- Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured requirements
- Strong commercial curiosity and confident communication across multiple stakeholders

Nice to have but not essential: QSR, hospitality, retail, or FMCG experience; exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or Synapse; DAX and semantic modelling experience; Python exposure.
