About The Role

TCR has a brand-new, exciting chance available in our Brisbane Workshop: Fabricator! As a Fabricator, you'll carry out fabrication, fitting and repairs on specialised GSE equipment while ensuring all work meets high safety and quality standards. Roster: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct fabrication and assembly, installation and fitting, quality control and maintenance and repairs.
- Follow service guidelines, commit to safety through Zero Harm principles and promote a safety-first approach.
- Utilize the wide variety of equipment and the unique nature of aviation equipment as an opportunity to bring a wide collection of knowledge, skills and experience to the role.




- Report daily to the Shift Supervisor.
- Collaborate with fabricators, technicians, and assistants to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Work with multiple unique GSE specialised equipment.
- Occasional regional travel may be required to perform welding and fabrication works at various operational locations.

Essential Requirements

- Relevant Trade Qualification in Welding/Fabrication.
- Previous experience with aluminum welding to AS/NZS 1665.
- Hold a current and valid Driver's License.
- A strong focus on safety standards and relevant company policies & procedures.
- Experience working within procedural guidelines.
- A positive attitude and proactive mindset, with the ability to work autonomously as well as being a good team player.

Desirable

- Basic mechanical/repair aptitude advantageous.
