Our Operations Manager is moving on, and we're looking for someone ready to step into the role that keeps Rest-A-Sured Security moving — schedules, jobs, clients, and a team on the tools, every single day.

About Rest-A-Sured Security

Rest-A-Sured Security (RASS) is a Perth-based security systems company operating out of Wangara. We design, install, and maintain alarm systems, intercoms, CCTV, access control, and electric fencing for residential and commercial clients across WA, including ongoing relationships with shopping centres and commercial property groups.

About the Role

This is the operational engine room of the business. Reporting directly to the owner, you will own the role that keeps jobs moving — From the moment a sale is won, through scheduling and stock, to the job being completed and invoiced. Shadowing our outgoing Operations Manager during a structured handover, and within 90 days you'll be running scheduling, stock, and client communications independently — freeing the owner to focus on sales, quoting, and client relationships. Training will be provided.

What You'll Do

- Coordinate the daily schedule for field technicians — tracking job progress, resolving delays, and keeping clients informed in real time
- Set up new jobs in our job management system (Aroflo) as soon as sales close, including stock ordering and technician allocation
- Review daily monitoring reports and follow up directly with clients on any alerts or anomalies
- Handle incoming service calls and new job enquiries,



qualifying and logging each one
- Manage supplier relationships — chasing backorders, checking pricing, and keeping jobs on budget
- Run a daily invoicing scan to keep billing current and support a smooth month-end close
- Support tender preparation and coordinate site access for commercial clients

What We're Looking For

Required

- Experience in a scheduling, dispatch, or operations coordination role — ideally in trades, field services, or a similarly fast-moving environment
- Comfortable using job management software (we use Aroflo) and confident picking up new tools and AI-assisted reporting
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple jobs and priorities without dropping the ball
- A clear, professional communicator — equally comfortable with clients and technicians in the field
- Calm under pressure, and comfortable making decisions and taking ownership without needing constant sign-off

Preferred (nice to have)

- Experience with alarm, CCTV, or other security/trade monitoring systems
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software
- Experience supporting supplier negotiations and stock management
- $70,000 – $85,000 per annum, based on experience
- Permanent, full time position — Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
- On-site role based in Wangara, WA
- Structured handover and shadowing period with the outgoing Operations Manager before she departs
