About the Chance

An opportunity exists for an experienced Pharmacy Technician Team Leader to take on a hands‑on leadership position within a busy hospital pharmacy. This isn't a purely managerial role. You'll remain involved in day‑to‑day pharmacy activities while taking greater responsibility for coordinating and supporting the technician team. You'll help ensure the team operates effectively, provide guidance and development to other technicians, and work closely with Pharmacists and pharmacy leadership to maintain a high standard of service.

Duties





- Provide day‑to‑day leadership, guidance, and support to Pharmacy Technicians.
- Coordinate team activities and resources to support efficient pharmacy operations.
- Remain actively involved in medication supply, preparation, and broader technician duties.
- Support the training and ongoing development of team members.
- Work closely with Pharmacists to respond to changing operational and patient needs.
- Contribute to maintaining appropriate stock availability and effective medication management.

Skills and Experience

- Hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
- Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, whether through formal supervision, team leadership, training, or mentoring responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of hospital pharmacy operations.
- Collaborative approach with a strong focus on quality and patient care.
