Mercor is seeking a Computational Seismology & Geophysics Expert to design graduate-level problems that test AI systems on real scientific workflows. You will craft setups using open-source tools like SPECFEM, ObsPy, Pyrocko, and more, with hands-on coding in Python to run multi-step simulations and validations.

Ideal applicants hold MS/PhD-level training in geophysics or related fields, have published or contributed to open-source projects, and can work 15–20 hours weekly from a Linux
