Clinical Teaching Fellow (Core) in Emergency Medicine
You will work in collaboration with named educational supervisors Dr Dominic Rayment (lead for Year 4 students) and Dr Eoin Macdonald-Nethercott (lead for Year 6 students) in the Emergency Department, and Dr Famila Alagarsamy (lead for students in Anaesthetics and Perioperative Medicine) as well as the Clinical Sub-Dean for medical students, the Director of Medical Education (DME), and other postgraduate doctors, to support a learning culture, implement educational initiatives, and provide peer support. You will be part of a team of CUH doctors who support the delivery of undergraduate medical education alongside clinical service (50:50 education:clinical split). The role provides an prospect for a motivated doctor to develop as a clinical educator while contributing to high-quality teaching and supporting learner development.
