This is a rare opportunity to build capability from the ground up, lead transformational projects, and play a key role in shaping WSP's WA water infrastructure strategy. **The Opportunity** We are seeking a **Principal Engineer (Civil / Structural)** (Associate and Director-level candidates will also be considered) to provide technical leadership across water and wastewater infrastructure, including: + Water / Wastewater Conveyance + Water / Wastewater Treatment + Project and Design Delivery + Water-retaining structures and complex assets This is a high-impact leadership role suited to a well-connected technical leader who thrives on growing teams, influencing clients, and delivering critical infrastructure with strong national backing. **What You'll Be Driving** + Lead the technical delivery of major water infrastructure projects across WA + Set standards in design excellence, design management and project delivery + Deliver innovative, practical and future-ready engineering solutions + Provide civil/structural leadership across pipelines, pump stations, networks and water-retaining structures + Champion Safety in Design, quality, commercial and WHS outcomes + Play a key role in major pursuits, bids and proposals in the WA water market + Support business development alongside the Section Executive + Mentor, coach and grow a high-performing,
multi-disciplinary national team + Collaborate nationally to deliver integrated, high-value outcomes + Drive digital engineering and BIM-enabled delivery **About You** You are a respected technical leader with a strong consultancy background and deep experience in water infrastructure.
