**About the Role** The Security Monitor (SM) plays a critical role in maintaining the security posture of restricted and controlled areas, ensuring the safety of personnel and infrastructure. Reporting to the Security Monitor Supervisor, the SM provides line-of-sight monitoring of uncleared personnel and ensures compliance with site security protocols. **Key Responsibilities** + Monitor uncleared personnel to prevent unauthorized access or removal of sensitive materials. + Enforce site regulations and communicate security procedures professionally. + Operate handheld radio systems for effective communication. + Respond to emergency events and maintain control of personnel. + Complete incident and infraction reports accurately. + Support other operational areas (e.g., custodial, food services, trades) as needed. + Promote and maintain health and safety compliance.



**Qualifications** **Essential:** + Completion of Year 12 + Valid Driver's Licence (manual transmission) + White Card (Construction Induction) + Minimum 1 year of work experience + Solid communication and teamwork skills + Ability to work in extreme weather and physically demanding conditions **Desirable:** + Previous security experience + Experience with handheld radio communications + Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform tickets **Security Clearance Requirement** Applicants must be eligible to obtain and retain a minimum of NV1 (Australian) or SECRET (U.S.) Department of Defence Security Clearance. **Additional Requirements** + Must be at least 18 years of age + Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) + Commitment to EHS and Quality standards + Willingness to comply with all site procedures and policies
