Sushi Room is an intimate and sophisticated Japanese restaurant, renowned for its premium produce, exceptional service and unforgettable dining experiences. Located within the award-winning Calile Hotel precinct on James Street, Sushi Room offers an elevated dining experience where every detail matters.

As part of the St Albans Hospitality Group, you'll be joining a collection of Brisbane's leading hospitality venues, including Hellenika, SK Steak & Oyster and Sunshine. We're looking for experienced Section Waiters to join our team on a casual basis. If you're passionate about premium hospitality and enjoy creating memorable dining experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

Your Role

n

As a Section Waiter, you'll take ownership of your section, delivering warm, attentive and knowledgeable service while creating memorable dining experiences for every guest. You'll work alongside a passionate team in a quick-paced, premium restaurant where exceptional hospitality is at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service within your own section.
n
- Build genuine connections with guests and create memorable dining experiences.
n
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of our food,



wine and beverage offerings.
n
- Work closely with the management team to deliver seamless service.
n
- Support and mentor junior team members when required.
n
- Maintain exceptional presentation and attention to detail.
n
- Ensure service standards are consistently delivered throughout every shift.
n
- Contribute to a positive, professional and team-focused culture.

About You

You'll bring:

- Previous experience as a Section Waiter in a quality restaurant.
n
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
n
- Strong food, wine and beverage knowledge.
n
- A warm, professional and engaging personality.
n
- The ability to remain calm and organised in a busy service.
n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
n
- Full working rights in Australia.
n
- A current RSA Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
n
