Our ISS Health Team is growing, and we are currently seeking casual Hospital Cleaners to join our team at Northern Hospital (Epping).

n

We are looking for individuals who are able to work across the week, day shifts 6:30am-2:30pm, and afternoon shifts starting at 2:30pm -10pm.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Ability to work early mornings or evening shifts
n
- Safe handling of chemical and/or hazardous substances in the performance of cleaning duties
n
- Decontamination of surfaces after the initial clinical waste spillage has been removed by clinical staff
n
- Identifying and recording any problems relating to cleaning services and/or safety
n
- Provide cleaning services in both patient and non-patient areas, adhering to infection control procedures, conducting waste removal, and undertaking infectious cleaning in designated areas
n

- No previous cleaning experience required - receive paid training

About you:

n

- Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
n
- Ability to work day or evening shifts, between the hours of 6:30am to 10:00pm
n
- Ability to undergo a functional pre-employment medical
n
- Police Clearance, or ability to obtain, is essential
n
- Evidence of immunisation for Influenza, or willingness to obtain, as per VIC Health Worker policy is essential
