Lead Educator - Nursery Room (Full-Time Permanent)

We currently representing a well-established and highly regarded early learning centre in the Mackay region, committed to providing exceptional care and education for children while fostering a positive, supportive workplace for our team.

We are currently seeking an experienced, Diploma-qualified Lead Educator to lead our Nursery Room in a full-time permanent position.

n

About the Role

n

As the Lead Educator in our Nursery Room, you will:

n

n
- Lead the planning and implementation of engaging, play-based learning experiences.
n
- Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0-2 years.
n
- Build robust, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
n
- Mentor and support fellow educators within the room.
n
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), EYLF and centre policies.
n
- Contribute positively to our centre's inclusive and collaborative culture.
n

About You

n

To be successful, you will have:

n

n




- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
n
- Previous experience as a Lead Educator
n
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
n
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
n
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
n
- Full working rights - No sponsorship required
