We are seeking reliable Pathology Specimen Collectors to join our East Brisbane Reliever team. This role offers a variety of shifts between 6:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday covering the Redlands and East Brisbane city area . The position also includes participation in a rotating weekend roster.

Key Responsibilities

n

Provide outstanding patient care & customer service, answering questions and easing concerns

n

Collect biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.) in a safe, professional manner

n

Label, handle, and process samples in line with strict protocols

n

Maintain a clean and organised collection setting

n

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service

n

What we are looking for

n

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

n

Experience in healthcare, aged care, community services or customer service. A Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection is highly regarded.

n

Confidence to work independently, including in solo collection centres

n

Strong time management and problem-solving skills

n

A willingness to learn and enjoy variety in your day

n

A current First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain before end of Probation period)

n

Successful candidates will complete a comprehensive paid training program and receive an SNP training certificate on completion.
