We're looking for a reliable and hands‐on Driver & Yardsperson to join our QLD Hire team based at Stapylton. This is a diverse role focused on deliveries and collections, forklift operation, equipment preparation and general yard duties, with some project installation work as required.

We're looking for a reliable and hands‐on Driver & Yardsperson to join our QLD Hire team based at Stapylton. This is a wide-ranging role focused on deliveries and collections, forklift operation, equipment preparation and general yard duties, with some project installation work as required.

The Role

n

Based out of our Stapylton depot, you'll play a key role in supporting the day‐to‐day operations of the QLD Hire business.

n

You'll spend your time delivering and collecting hire equipment from customer sites, loading and unloading equipment, operating a forklift and keeping the yard organized and running efficiently. You'll also prepare equipment for hire, complete quality checks and assist with basic maintenance and repairs.

From time to time,



you'll support the team with equipment installations and removals on customer and project sites.

n

We're looking for someone who enjoys hands‐on work, isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and can confidently move between driving, forklift operation and general yard duties.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Deliver and collect hire equipment across customer and project sites.
n
- Safely load and unload vehicles using forklifts and other handling equipment.
n
- Operate a forklift as part of daily yard and dispatch activities.
n
- Prepare, pick and dispatch equipment for upcoming hires.
n
- Carry out equipment inspections and quality checks before and after hire.
n
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe yard workplace.
n
- Complete minor repairs and preventative maintenance on hire equipment.
n
- Assist with equipment installations and removals on project sites as required.
n
- Maintain service records, delivery documentation and maintenance logs.
n
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing the RSEA brand.

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n
- A current Manual Driver's Licence.
n
- A current LF Forklift Licence.
n
- Reliable transport.
n




- Confidence operating a forklift and working within a busy yard environment.
n
- A proactive, hands‐on approach and strong work ethic.
n
- Good communication skills and a team‐first attitude.
n
- The ability to work independently and adapt to changing daily priorities.
n
- Flexibility to work overtime and participate in occasional night and weekend project work as required.
n

Highly Regarded

n
- Experience in transport, freight, logistics or multi‐drop deliveries.
n
- Previous yard, warehouse or dispatch experience.
n
- Experience within equipment hire, construction or industrial environments.
n
- Welding, mechanical or auto‐electrical experience.
n
- Experience towing trailers or operating plant and equipment.
n
