Are you a commercially minded lawyer looking for a broad, high-impact role where you can truly influence business outcomes? GWA is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our North Sydney team on a part-time (4 days per week) basis and partner closely with our Company Secretary & General Counsel. In this pivotal role, you'll provide trusted legal advice across a wide range of corporate, commercial, governance, regulatory and strategic matters, helping the business navigate risk while enabling growth and innovation.

You’ll be involved in:

- Advising on complex commercial and corporate matters
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements
- Supporting governance, compliance and company secretarial activities
- Contributing to M&A;, strategic projects and corporate transactions
- Managing disputes and engaging with external legal advisers
- Driving continuous improvement across legal processes, templates and playbooks

About You

You’ll be an Australian‑admitted lawyer with 5+ years' post‑admission experience, gained in‑house, within a top‑tier firm, or another sophisticated legal environment. You will bring strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to provide practical,



solutions‑focused advice that supports business outcomes. Experience within an ASX‑listed environment, governance, compliance or company secretarial matters will be highly regarded.
