The Opportunity

n

Paradise Country is seeking a passionate Animal Farmyard Attendant to join our domestic animal team. This hands‐on role is focused on the daily care, welfare, and presentation of a variety of farm animals within a working farm workplace, while delivering warm, genuine country hospitality to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide high standards of animal care and welfare across a range of domestic farm animals
n
- Conduct daily health and welfare checks, monitoring behaviour and identifying any concerns
n
- Prepare feeds and ensure animals are maintained in excellent condition
n
- Maintain clean, safe, and well‐presented animal enclosures
n
- Assist in preparing animals for guest interactions and displays
n
- Share your knowledge with guests through friendly interactions and presentations
n
- Contribute to a welcoming, authentic farm experience through country‐style hospitality
n
- Follow all safety procedures and animal handling protocols to ensure the wellbeing of animals, guests, and team members
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Certificate III in Exhibited Animal Care or similar is essential
n
- Previous experience working with and caring for domestic or farm animals is essential
n
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a team in a hands‐on setting
n
- Experience conducting animal welfare checks, including with young or nursery animals is essential
n
- Strong observation skills and the ability to identify and elevate animal husbandry concerns
n
- A friendly,



down‐to‐earth approach with a natural ability to provide country‐style guest service
n
- Confidence engaging with guests and delivering educational talks or demonstrations
n
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport
n
- Flexibility to work across weekends and school holiday periods
