Job Description
Are you interested in gaining gardening experience at an established rural business in the Canberra Region?

We are looking for a reliable and practical Gardener & Maintenance Person to join our team at our property.
n
This is a great prospect for a Horticulture student looking to gain practical, hands-on experience in a beautiful property environment.
n
Canberra Region | 3 Days Per Week | Casual/Part Time
n
The Role
n
Working across our gardens, grounds and wider property, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- General gardening and grounds maintenance
n
- Mowing, edging, pruning, weeding and planting
n
- Lawn and garden care
n
- Irrigation and watering
n
- General farm and vineyard tasks during harvest period
n
- Weed spraying and tractor work
n
- Maintaining paths, fences, gardens and outdoor areas
n
- General property repairs and maintenance
n
- Keeping the grounds looking their best for weddings and events
n
- Care and maintenance of gardening tools and equipment
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for someone who is:
n
n
- Reliable,
hardworking and takes pride in their work
n
- Comfortable working outdoors and independently
n
- Practical and hands-on
n
- Interested in horticulture, gardening or landscaping
n
- Well presented and comfortable working around hospitality guests
n
- Chem certificate is required
n
- Forklift license is handy though not required
n
n
