The Windsor Hotel, Dalby, apart of Waymark Hotels, is seeking a Cook or Chef to join the team! Using only the freshest local produce, our restaurant is well known for its diverse and modern cuisine.

As a Chef / Cook, your daily responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Assisting our team in maintaining an efficient and proactive kitchen operation across both venues
n
- Ensuring all meals are of high quality and are prepared on time
n
- Utilising a variety of fresh, frozen, and prepared ingredients to prepare, cook, and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menu
n
- Practising effective stock rotation and wastage minimisation procedures
n
- Assisting with menu changes when required
n

Successful Candidate:

To be successful in the role, you will possess the following:

n

n




- Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
n
- Availability to work any hospitality hours
n
- Ability to work well under a high-pressure workplace
n
- Brilliant communication skills to all team members
n

n

Applicants should have formal qualifications and at least 1 years of relevant employment experience or, in the absence of formal qualifications, have at least 3 years of relevant employment experience.

Benefits:

The successful candidate will be provided with the following:

- Full-time salary between $65,000 - $100,000 + Superannuation depending on experience
