For more than 60 years, we have supported water utilities, local government, mining companies and remote communities across Australia. As a nationally recognised Registered Training Organisation (RTO), we deliver practical, industry-led training that helps operators develop the skills needed to provide safe, reliable and sustainable water services.

Our team delivers training, operational support and technical services across Australia and the South Pacific.

About the Role
n
We are seeking aWater Industry Trainer & Assessorto join our growing training team.
n
This role is ideal for an experienced water industry professional who enjoys sharing knowledge, developing others and helping operators succeed.
n
You don't need to be a career trainer. We're particularly interested in speaking with operators, supervisors and technical specialists looking for a new challenge.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Deliver nationally recognised training programs
n
- Facilitate practical, workplace-based and classroom learning
n
- Conduct assessments and support learners
n
- Develop and improve training resources
n
- Work closely with utilities,
councils and industry clients
n
- Travel to client sites across Australia
n
- Support continuous improvement and quality outcomes within our RTO
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:
n
n
- Water & Wastewater Operations – treatment, water quality, process optimisation and SCADA systems
n
- Networks & Distribution – water and wastewater networks, pump stations and operational maintenance
n
- Dams, Catchments & Bulk Water – dam operations, catchment management and bulk water systems
n
- Irrigation & Rural Water– irrigation schemes, channels, regulators and water delivery systems
n
n
Highly regarded but not essential:
n
n
- Hydrographic or hydrometric monitoring
n
- Flood warning and water resource monitoring systems
n
- Groundwater monitoring and management
n
- Advanced water resource operations
n
n
About You
n

Qualifications
n
Essential
n
n
- Certificate III in Water Industry Operations or equivalent qualification
n
- Significant experience within the water industry
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- Willingness to travel regularly
n
n
Desirable
n
n
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116 or equivalent)
n
- Advanced water industry qualifications
n
n

That's okay. If you're the right industry professional, we'll support you to obtain the qualification and transition into training and assessment.
