About the Role
n
This role involves travelling to a variety of client sites across the Mackay region, ensuring electrical equipment is tested, tagged and compliant with Australian Standards.
n
You'll primarily be working in:
n
n
- Schools
n
- Warehouses
n
- Commercial businesses
n
n
No two days are the same, so you'll enjoy variety, independence and plenty of customer interaction.
n
Your Responsibilities
n
n
- Carry out Test & Tag inspections on electrical equipment.
n
- Accurately record testing results using Test & Tag equipment and computer-based software.
n
- Deliver excellent customer service while building positive relationships with clients.
n
- Work independently while managing your daily schedule.
n
- Maintain a high level of organisation and attention to detail.
n
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
n
- Full training is provided, however you'll need to be eager to learn, adaptable and able to think on your feet.
n

About You
n
You'll be someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in your work and is happy working both independently and as part of a team.
n
Preferred qualifications: (but not a deal breaker!):
n
n
- A Test & Tag Certificate or Restricted Electrical Licence (or be willing to obtain one)
n
- White Card
n
- Blue Card
n
- Willingness to complete a National Police Check
n
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills
n
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
- A current Australian Driver Licence
n
n
