About Our Client

Our client is a well-established Australian organisation based in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to support their finance team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment on a temporary basis.

Job Description

n

n
- Processing and reconciling high-volume accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
n
- Monitoring outstanding invoices and proactively following up on overdue payments.
n
- Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies and customer account queries.
n
- Maintaining accurate customer account records and ensuring compliance with company policies.
n
- Supporting month-end activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
n
- Preparing and distributing regular aged debt and AR performance reports.
n
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely payment resolution.
n
- Providing administrative support to the wider finance team as required.
n

The Successful Applicant

n

n
- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable role within a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
n




- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and general accounting principles.
n
- Experience using SAP or a similar large ERP system, with intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
n
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
n
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
n
- Ability to work autonomously while meeting deadlines in a busy team environment.
n
- Immediate availability or the ability to commence at short notice
