Are you looking for a great opportunity to start your career in a long-standing accounting firm located in Deakin? Leger Rutledge & Walker Pty Ltd are currently looking for a full time graduate accountant to join our friendly and supportive team.

The successful applicant will report to and work closely with both senior accountants and business partners.

n

Key responsibilities (including but not limited to):

n

n
- Assistance with the preparation of basic Financial Reports, Tax Returns and Business Activity Statements for our business client base, including use of various accounting software packages;
n
- Preparation of Individual Income Tax Returns;
n
- Bookkeeping, Annual Taxable Payment Reports, Single Touch Payroll and other schedules and worksheets;
n
- Working with and supporting senior accountants and partners.
n

About you:

If you are looking to pursue a career in accounting, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you. The successful applicant would ideally have the following:

- A tertiary qualification in accounting;
n
- Willing to start, or already enrolled in CA/CPA Program;
n
- Outstanding attitude towards learning and are self-motivated;
n
- Great attention to detail;
n
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
n
- Friendly staff and working environment;
n
- Supported professional development, such as CA/CPA Program;
n
- Working closely with and learning from our experienced team who cover a broad range of professional skills;
