Emergency Nurse (RN) - QLD Regional & Remote | Emergency Department Contracts | Travel & Accommodation Provided

Are you a Registered Nurse (RN) based in Brisbane, or anywhere else in Australia / NZ, with recent Emergency Department (ED) experience? Limelight People is recruiting Emergency Nurses for 4-12 week contract roles across regional and remote Queensland, including Thursday Island, Cairns Region, Townsville Region, Mount Isa, Rockhampton, Toowoomba Region, Bundaberg, Mackay, Gladstone and surrounding regional and remote communities.

About the Role

n

n
- 4-12 week Emergency Department (ED) contracts, with extensions often available
n
- Roles in regional hospitals, remote clinics and coastal Emergency Departments
n
- Full time hours, day/night/rotating roster options depending on site
n
- Fast-tracked compliance and onboarding support
n

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care across triage, resus and general ED presentations
n
- Undertake patient assessment, triage categorisation and clinical prioritisation
n
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary emergency team
n




- Respond confidently to acute, time-critical presentations
n
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with hospital policy
n

n

Skills & Experience Required

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (unrestricted)
n
- Recent Emergency Department experience (minimum 2 years preferred)
n
- Demonstrated Triage and Resus experience
n
- ALS certification (PALS highly regarded)
n
- National Police Check and up-to-date vaccination records
n
- Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced, dynamic clinical environments
n
