Tyrepower Camden is a locally owned and operated family business, backed by Australia's most trusted tyre and wheel network. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Qualified Motor Mechanic to join our busy workshop team on a full-time basis.

This role is ideal for a trade-qualified mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship, values safety, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

About the Role

n

As a Qualified Motor Mechanic at Tyrepower Camden, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of mechanical servicing, diagnostics, and repairs across passenger vehicles, SUVs, 4WDs, and light commercial vehicles.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Performing scheduled servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs.
n
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical repairs efficiently and accurately.
n
- Completing brake, suspension, steering, engine, and drivetrain repairs.
n
- Conducting vehicle inspections and identifying safety or mechanical issues.
n
- Providing clear, professional advice on repair and maintenance requirements.
n
- Maintaining workshop cleanliness, tools, and equipment in line with WHS standards.
n
- Following Tyrepower operational procedures and quality standards.
n




- Supporting team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
n

Hours of Work

n

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

n

Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong technical skills, reliability, and a professional approach. You will have:

n

n
- Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
n
- Relevant post-trade experience in a workshop environment.
n
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
n
- High attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Professional, customer-focused communication skills.
n
- Physical capability to safely perform manual handling tasks.
n
- Pink Slip and Blue Slip accreditation highly regarded.
n
- Own tools suitable to fulfil role requirements.
n
