Mechanical Engineer- Just Temps is currently looking for highly experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer based in the outskirts of Ipswich, Suffolk on a full time basis!

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within a production environment. The role will initially be a temporary position for up to 12 weeks and for the right candidate will go permanent!

About the Role:

n

In this role, you will be responsible for machine setup, planned maintenance, breakdown response and electrical/mechanical fault-finding,



helping to minimise downtime and maintain equipment reliability. Working hours are 39 hours per week with a starting salary of £14.80 per hour.

Key Duties:

n

n
- - Set up machinery and complete production line changeovers.
n
- - Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
n
- - Respond to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
n
- - Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and electromechanical faults.
n
- - Inspect equipment for wear, defects and potential failures.
n
- - Follow health & safety procedures and quality standards.
n

Requirements:

n

n
- - An Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification -
n
- - this is essential
n
- - Previous experience within manufacturing, production environment
n
- - Immediately available or available to start at short notice
n
- - Must hold a full driving licence and have access to own vehicle -
n
