We are looking for an experienced and detail-focused Payroll Officer to join our Finance team.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely end-to-end payroll across multiple entities, including weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll cycles.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Process end-to-end payroll across multiple entities and pay cycles
n
- Ensure payroll is accurate and compliant with Modern Awards, employment contracts, legislation and company policies
n
- Process and reconcile PAYG, superannuation and payroll tax obligations
n
- Maintain accurate employee records, leave balances and payroll reporting
n
- Process employee deductions, termination payments and workers' compensation payments
n




- Calculate and reconcile commissions and marketing fees
n
- Respond to payroll queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
n
- Assist with EOFY and other statutory payroll reporting
n
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of payroll information
n
- Support audits, system upgrades and payroll procedure reviews
n
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, efficiency and compliance
n

About You

n

n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar payroll role
n
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
n
- Previous end-to-end payroll and/or HR systems experience
n
- Good working knowledge of Modern Awards, National Employment Standards and relev. payroll legislation
n
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
n
- Robust time management and problem-solving skills
n

Nice to have

n

n
- Experience using the HR3 or other payroll systems
n
- Experience accross other Finance functions will be advantageous
n
- Cert 3 or 4 in Payroll admin or Business will be highly regarded
n
