About the role
n
This is a part-time position (approximately 28.5 hours per week), with the potential to increase to a full time role as the clinic continues to grow.
n
As an integral member of our nursing team, you'll work closely with our veterinarians and fellow nurses to deliver high-quality patient care and outstanding client service.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Assisting veterinarians during consultations,
procedures, and surgeries
n
- Monitoring anaesthetics and supporting surgical patients
n
- Performing diagnostic testing, blood collection, and IV catheter placement
n
- Administering medications and treatments
n
- Providing nursing care to hospitalised patients
n
- Supporting and educating pet owners on health and preventative care
n
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
n
- Helping to mentor and support less experienced team members
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient clinic environment
n
n
About you
n
We're looking for someone who:
n
n
- Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification)
n
- Has previous experience working in a clinical veterinary nursing role (2+ years idea
n
- Is confident with both medical and surgical nursing duties
n
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
n
- Enjoys working collaboratively within a team environment
n
- Takes pride in delivering exceptional patient and client care
n
- Is proactive, reliable, and eager to continue learning and developing their skills
n
