JDN MONOCRANEis a turn key solutions provider that designs, manufactures, installs and services the full range of standard and specialised, customer specific lifting solutions.

We are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Welder to start immediately.

n

Key Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

n

Fabrication and welding of Overhead Gantry Crane box girders.

n

Fabrication and welding of structural steel - columns and beams.

n

Fabrication and welding of complex frames and associated lifting equipment.

n

Key Attributes:

n

You will be highly motivated and have pride in your work

n

Qualified Boilermaker or equivalent (Cert 3 MechEng)

n

Have superior MIG (GMAW) and general welding skills - you will be required to demonstrate your ability as part of the interview process

n

Competent with Fillet and Butt welding of plates from 5mm to 45mm

n

Be able to read 2D drawings

n





Experience with and knowledge of formal QA process and procedure, including identification of defective or outside of tolerance mechanical components

n

Must be available for day shift

n

Must have full time availability

n

Pay attention to detail, and

Can work with minimal supervision, as well as

n

Be adaptable with regard to overtime, available between 0615 and 1745

n

While not essential to the role, preferred candidates will hold the following:

n

EWP/Scissor Lift

n

Rigging and Dogging

n

Working at heights

n
