We are seeking an experienced Service Resilience Specialist to support the uplift of service management and operational resilience capabilities within a large and complex government workplace.

This is a strategic role focused on improving organisational resilience, service maturity and technology assurance outcomes. You will work across executive, operational and delivery functions to define and embed service resilience frameworks, operating models and governance capabilities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping future service management capabilities while ensuring the organisation's ServiceNow platform and service architecture support resilient and dependable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct service management capability and maturity assessments.
- Develop service resilience strategies, frameworks and roadmaps.
- Provide guidance on capacity, availability, continuity and recovery management.
- Define resilience requirements for business-critical services.
- Support operating model design and alignment activities.
- Provide independent assurance and guidance on ServiceNow capabilities and implementation approaches.
- Define and review CSDM and CMDB principles and governance.
- Develop observability and monitoring requirements.




- Review service performance reporting frameworks and measures.
- Engage senior stakeholders to align strategic objectives with operational outcomes.
- Produce reusable documentation, frameworks, position papers and implementation guidance.

Skills & Experience

We are seeking candidates with experience in:

- Operational resilience and technology resilience.
- Service management and ITSM governance.
- ServiceNow platform strategy, architecture or assurance.
- CMDB and CSDM design principles.
- Availability, capacity and continuity management.
- Service observability and performance reporting.
- Capability maturity assessments and roadmap development.
- Executive stakeholder engagement and advisory services.
- Government or highly regulated operating environments.
- ServiceNow Architect
- Service Management Architect
- Operational Resilience Consultant
- Service Governance Lead

Desirable Certifications

- ITIL Foundation or higher
- ServiceNow Certifications
- TOGAF
- Service Management or Enterprise Architecture Certifications

Security Requirements
