We are currently seeking a (Service Technician – Electrician or Mechanical fitter) for Permanent opportunities with our national client here in Sydney, NSW.

About the role:

n

n
- Complete detailed inspection reports
n
- Assist Service Supervisors with scoping of hazard and fault resolution
n
- Undertake routine and annual inspections of BMU (Building maintenance units) and fall arrest systems
n
- Perform maintenance tasks (e.g. re-greasing, oil changes, wire rope changes) in accordance with equipment manufacturers' instructions
n
- Diagnose and repair faults on inoperable and malfunctioning BMUs with particular focus on electrical sub-systems
n
- Undertake major inspections of BMUs
n
- Lead BMU refurbishment site activities
n
- Assist with the installation of BMUs,



fall-arrest and other vertical access equipment
n
- Undertake and approve BMU commissioning (and recommissioning)
n

n

Skills and experience:

n

n
- Experience with cranes / lifts / hoists / EWPs or other access equipment.
n
- Work Safely at heights (RIIWHS204E)
n
- (NSW) Electrician's license (unrestricted, or fitting work only)
n
- $60 p/h – 65 p/h based on experience
n
- Based on a 40-hour week with RDO + overtime + penalty rates, fully maintained company vehicle
n
- Shift times - 7:00 – 15:00. Monday to Friday
n
