As a Dental Assistant / Receptionist, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our clinic while delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.

As a Dental Assistant / Receptionist, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our clinic while delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

n

Dental Assisting Duties

n

n
- Chairside assistance to dentists during a range of dental procedures
n
- Preparing and sterilizing instruments and treatment rooms
n
- Maintaining infection control standards and clinical protocols
n
- Assisting with patient care and comfort before, during, and after treatment
n
- Managing clinical stock and supplies
n
- Taking and processing dental radiographs (where qualified)
n

Reception Duties

n

n
- Greeting patients and providing exceptional customer service
n
- Answering phone calls and managing appointment bookings
n
- Patient recalls and follow-up communications
n
- Processing payments and handling accounts
n
- Managing patient records and maintaining confidentiality
n




- Liaising with patients regarding treatment plans and appointments
n
- General administrative and reception duties
n

- Present professionally and maintain a positive attitude

- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Be reliable, organized, and punctual
n
- Work well both independently and as part of a team
n
- Be adaptable and willing to take on a broad range of responsibilities

- Have strong customer service skills and attention to detail

- Be eager to learn and develop within the dental industry
n
- Be willing to travel and work at our sister clinics in Bendigo and Castlemaine when required
n

Previous dental assisting or dental reception experience is preferred; however, applicants with strong customer service experience and a willingness to learn.
