School Nurse (RN) working 2 days per week 8am - 4pm, commencing the 6th of October for an initial 12 month contract with the possibility of an extension

About the role

n

This role is responsible for student first aid, supporting students on health care plans and maintaining effective administration of associated medical records, processes and managing all related policies. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the health and wellbeing of students through their educational journey from P-12.

About you

n

n
- Be a Registered Nurse with relevant qualifications and registration
n
- Hold or willing to hold a current Blue Card
n
- Possess personal and people skills that allow you to build effective relationships with students, parents, and community members
n
- Have sound knowledge and understanding of relevant legislations and best practice within the nursing profession
n
- Demonstrate a kind and patient approach to working with children of all ages
n
- The ability to work and make sound qualified judgements with autonomy
n




- Value the importance of child safety and maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards child abuse
n
